How to know if someone blocked your number on iPhone?
If someone blocks your number and you have an iPhone, then send a text message to that person who you think blocked you. When you send a text to somebody, you always get a Delivered status under the message when the message is delivered to the receiver. So look for the status under the message if you don’t see the Delivered status under the message, then that could mean that person has blocked you.
Another way to know if someone blocked you is to call that person. If your call immediately goes to voicemail or you receive a message like temporarily out of service, well, then it means that person has blocked you.
Will that person get my messages?
No, the person that blocked you will not receive any of your texts.
However, the voicemails you send will go to a different folder instead of regular voicemail messages on their iPhone named Blocked messages, and they have to scroll down and go to that folder to see that they have received voicemails from you and listen.
How to know if someone blocked your number on Android?
On Android phones, if you have switched on the delivery reports, then you will receive a Delivered status when the message is received, just like on iPhone, if someone blocks you, then you will not see Delivered status under the message you sent to that person.
Another way to know that someone on an Android phone blocks you is to call them. If you are immediately redirected to the voicemail or get a message like temporarily out of service, that doesn’t exactly mean that you are blocked, but if you get the same message every time you call them, then it means that person has blocked you.
Will that person get my messages?
Yes and No both.
On some Android phones, the person that blocked you won’t receive your messages, but on most of the new Android phones, the messages from the blocked person go directly to the Spam folder without giving any notification to the receiver.
