But it is not that easy to get enrolled in Soundcloud Premier as you need at least 5000 plays in the past month from the countries where the subscription and advertising of Soundcloud listener are available. Criteria for eligible creators
- To get enrolled in Soundcloud Premier you need to subscribe Soundcloud Pro or Pro Unlimited.
- You can only monetise your original tracks and the creator must own all rights that are applicable.
- At the time of enrollment, there should be no copyright strikes.
- You need to be at least 18 years old.

How much does Soundcloud pay?
According to a report by The Verge, Soundcloud gives 55% of the net revenue share to the artists for the songs they upload with publishing royalties to the right holders and societies, which is more than the Spotify is offering to the artists.
Soundcloud pays directly to creators each month. If your track is an original composition, it’ll be eligible for monetisations and available for discovery immediately upon uploading.
