You can have more than one account on Linkedin and it could be for different purposes that depend on the user to user for example if you don’t want your connections from a different account. Linkedin allows you to merge the accounts if a user has two different accounts you can choose the account which you want to keep and which you want to delete.

Merging Linkedin accounts
You can merge your account only on Linkedin website so open the Linkedin website on any browser on your PC, login to the Linkedin account that you want to keep and follow the steps below.
Step 1: Click on the Me (with your profile picture) icon, second icon from right in the menu bar at the top of the screen. Then in the drop-down menu click on Settings and Privacy option.

Step 2: On next screen, under Account go to Account management section which is at the bottom in the menu and then click on Merging Linkedin accounts option.

Step 3: Linkedin will ask you to fill the email address and password of the duplicate account (the account you want to merge with your primary account).,Type the email address and password in the space provided and then click on the Submit button at the bottom..

Step 4: A box will appear showing the connections and profile strength of both the accounts and details about the account you are keeping to the left and which account will be merged and deleted to the right. After confirming the details click on the Continue button at the bottom right corner of the box.

Step 5: It will take you to the previous page. Click on Merge accounts button and a pop-up box will appear where you need to type your password and then click on the Submit button.

Step 6: On the next screen you will see a message Request sent successfully, which means that Linkedin has accepted your request for merging the account.

All the connections will be transferred to the account you are keeping within 24 hours.
