A web browser is our gateway to the Internet, which acts as a client in the client-server architecture. When you request to reach a website, the client is responsible for sending this URL to the ISP for DNS resolution. DNS resolution is like the yellow pages of the Internet. It has the IP address corresponding to each URL. Once your client gets the IP address for your URL, it sends a request to that IP address. To this request, the server sends a response that is posted in the form of an HTML file. This HTML file is what you see as a website.
