How to start Chrome in Safe Mode?
One of the quickest ways to open Incognito mode is to right-click on the Chrome icon in the taskbar and then click the New incognito window on the context menu or simple press Shift+Ctrl+N after opening the Chrome browser.
However, if you wish to get a Chrome desktop icon that directly opens in the safe mode or incognito window, follow the steps mentioned below. If you already have a Chrome desktop icon create on your desktop, you can skip to Step 2 or you can choose to create a separate icon to open Chome in incognito mode.
Step 1: Head over to the following file location in the file explorer.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application
Here you will come across Chrome application, right-click on the icon and from the context menu select Send to -> Desktop (Create Shortcut).
Step 2: If you already have the Desktop Chrome icon, start from here. Hover to your Chrome icon and right-click on it, now from the context menu select Properties as shown in the picture above.
Step 3: As you approach the Properties window, make sure that the Shotcut tab is selected, Now in the location area next to Target type -incognito at the end of the already written text and then hit the OK button.
Important: Do not forget to leave space before -incognito in the location bar; otherwise, Chrome will invalidate the command.
“C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe” –incognito
Now the problem you might be facing with the extensions will be solved.
