Add or remove Strikethrough using the Format menu on Google Docs app

Open your document in the Google Docs app for iOS or Android and follow the steps mentioned below to Strikethrough text or remove the formatting.

  • Look for the symbol with an uppercase ‘A’ in the toolbar at the top and tap on it.
  • A menu will appear in the bottom half of the screen. You’ll find the Strikethrough symbol towards the middle.
