Multiplayer games are fun, no doubt, but connecting to a server to play a game has its challenges. Internet connectivity issues, high ping and latency and overcrowded servers are just one of the few hoops players might have to jump through to play their favourite games.
In this article, we’re talking about Error 2618 in Tower of Fantasy, the reasons behind it and how to fix the problem.

What causes this error?
As pointed out by Tower of Fantasy itself, error 2618 occurs when players try to connect to an overcrowded server. Tower of Fantasy servers allow up to 3000 players in an active queue. If you’re attempting to join a server after the queue itself is full, you’re going to run into the error.
How to fix the error?
Since the error isn’t exactly an issue on either your or the server’s end, there aren’t many things you can do to fix the problem. There are two potential solutions you can try in case you run into the error:
- Switch to a different server.
- Keep spamming the OK button until the server lets you join.
The developers themselves suggest trying to connect to a different server in order to resume playing. Servers have green, orange or red orbs next to them that indicate just how crowded a server is at the moment. As you can guess, green servers are relatively less crowded as compared to the orange or red ones.
However, should you want to play on a specific server for whatever reason, your only option is to keep spamming the OK button under the error message until the queue frees up and lets you join the server.
