Use the Repair Now option
The first thing you should try before anything else is to use the Repair Now function of the game launcher after clicking on the hamburger menu icon. Most problems that occur in Genshin Impact can be fixed by using the option to find and replace any corrupted files that may be causing issues with your game.
Check internet connection and restart router
Since you need to have a working internet connection to play the game, the high ping could be a result of a slow internet connection. In this method, we will check whether the internet is working without any problems by running a speed test on websites such as fast.com. Often, if there is a problem with the internet speed, it can be fixed by simply restarting the router.

Reset network settings
As the ping of the game relies on the network, resetting the network settings may fix the problem and bring your game ping down to its usual number. The steps to do a network reset are as follows:
Step 1: Search for Network reset in the Search menu and click on the system setting option.
Step 2: In the Windows settings window, click on the Reset now button to perform a network reset.
Change DNS server
In the final method, we will use a different DNS server to resolve the issue. To do so, we will change the IPv4 DNS to publicly available DNS servers. In this example, we will use Google’s DNS server to lower the in-game ping. The steps to do so are as follows:
Step 1: Head over to the Control Panel and click on View network status and tasks.
Step 2: Click on your active connection and click on Properties.
Step 3: Click on the IPv4 option and click Properties.
Step 4: Select the Use the following DNS server addresses option and enter the Preferred (8.8.8.8) and Alternate (8.8.4.4) addresses.
Once you have saved your changes, the high ping problem in Genshin Impact should be fixed allowing you to play the game without any issues.
