Genshin Impact is a popular anime-style RPG that emphasises quests and open-world exploration. In addition to the main Archon quest, the game provides story and world quests. While story quests are based around characters, world quests are side quests initiated by talking to a non-player character or heading to a specific location.
However, sometimes a player may not know where to find a quest. The Time and the Wind quest is one such hidden quest, which is triggered by heading to the specific location and interacting with it.
In this article, we will show you how to activate the Time and the Wind quest in Genshin Impact. The steps to activate the quest are as follows:
Step 1: Head over to highest point of Starsnatch Cliff. From the location, an island to the east will be visible but it will not appear on the map.
Step 2: Head over to the island by gliding or making an ice bridge. If your stamina is insufficient to reach the island, you can simply use Kaeya’s elemental skill to create a bridge across.
Step 3: Once you are on the island, inspect the sundial ruins and search for a Ragged Notebook item under a rock. While the rock has already been broken below, the location can be referred to.
Once you have examined the ruins and picked up the item, it will initiate the Time and the Wind quest and prompt several tasks which are a part of the quest. While the hidden quest is meant to be discovered while exploring Monstadt and its nearby areas, no information about the island or its location on the map makes it difficult to find.
Genshin Impact, at the time of writing, is in its Version 5.4 (Phase 2), which brought the rerun banners for Furina and Wriothesley along with the signature weapon banners for the characters. The next banners are rumoured to be of new characters, Varesa and Iansan, alongwith rerun banners of Xilonen and Xianyun.
