Amazon rebranded Twitch Prime to Prime Gaming, on Monday, which is now available to all Amazon Prime and Prime Video members in over 200 countries globally.
Prime Gaming will bring all the perks enjoyed by Twitch Prime subscribers such as free in-game items, upgrades and a monthly rotating collection of free PC games.
Prime Gaming’s collaboration with popular publishers like Riot Games, Roblox Corp and Rockstar Games means players can look forward to items and upgrades across many popular games.
The rebranding to Prime Gaming also comes as a good news for Twitch streamers and creators, who will now enjoy the attention of more than 150 million Prime subscribers in the supported countries and territories.
Prime Gaming hasn’t made its way to India yet and there’s no clear indication of if and when that would happen.
“Prime members already get the best of TV, movies, and music, and now we’re expanding our entertainment offerings to include the best of gaming,” said Larry Plotnick, general manager of Prime Gaming. “We’re giving customers new content that makes playing their favorite games on every platform even better. So no matter what kind of games you love, and no matter where you play them, they’ll be even better with Prime Gaming.”
