If you want to see what’s trending on Twitter based on the current settings of your trends location, log in to your Twitter account and follow the guides below to see what’s trending on Twitter using its website and mobile app for Android and iOS.
How to see Twitter trends on PC?
To see the trending hashtags on Twitter, follow the steps mentioned below.
- Click on the #Explore option located in the sidebar menu to the left.
- Click on the Trending tab.
You’ll be able to see the Twitter trending hashtags in the selected location. If you want to see what’s trending in some other country, scroll down to check out the next guide section.
How to see trends on Twitter Mobile app?
Open the Twitter app on your Android or iOS device and follow the steps mentioned below to see trending tweets.
- Tap on the Search (Explore) icon from the toolbar at the bottom.
- Then tap on the Trending tab at the top of the page.
You’ll now see what’s trending on Twitter in your selected location.

How to check US Twitter trends on PC?
Step 1: Click on the #Explore option located in the sidebar menu to the left, followed by the Trending tab. and the Gear (Settings) icon.
Step 2: Click on Explore locations on the Explore settings menu.
Step 3: On the next page, you’ll be able to see all the countries where Twitter is available. Scroll down the list of countries and select your preferred one to see the popular hashtags and trends there.
You can alternatively also search for the country of your choice. For example, if you want to search US Twitter trends, write United States in the search bar and click on the country’s name below.
Step 4: You’ll see the selected location under Explore locations option. Click on the X icon beside Explore settings.
You’ll now be able to see the selected country’s trends on Twitter. If you selected United States, you’ll be able to see the top US Twitter trends on the trending page.
How to check US Twitter trends on Mobile app?
Open the Twitter app on your Android or iOS device and follow the steps mentioned below to check out US Twitter trends, what’s trending on Twitter in India or trending hashtags in any other country.
- Tap on the Search (Explore) icon from the toolbar at the bottom.
- Then tap on the Trending tab at the top of the page.
- On the next page, tap on Explore locations.
- You’ll now see a list of countries on the next page. Either scroll and select a country to see what’s trending there or search for the country using the Search locations box at the top of the page.
- For example, if you want to see US Twitter trends, search for United States and tap on the name once it appears (refer to the screenshot below).
You’ll now be able to see the Twitter trends for the selected country on the mobile app.

Step 1: Click on the #Explore option located in the sidebar menu to the left, Then click on the Show more button below the Trends for you section.
Step 2: On the Trends page, click on the Gear (Settings) icon.
Step 3: Now click on the box beside Show content in this location option and click on the X icon to close the windows.
You’ll now see all the Twitter trends around your location.
How to see what’s trending on Twitter in your area on the Mobile app?
Open the Twitter app on your Android or iOS device and follow the steps mentioned below to check out the Twitter trends in your area.
- Tap on the Search (Explore) icon.
- Followed by the Gear (Settings) icon on the top-right of the next page.
- Then tap on the toggle button beside Show content in your current location to enable the feature.
- Then tap on the Done option.
You’ll now see the Twitter trends in your area under the For you and Trending section of the Explore tab.
