Verify your account
If you haven’t verified your USPS account, you won’t be able to use Informed Delivery. Make sure you’ve completed the verification process and that your account is up to date. If you are unable to verify your identity online then you can opt for in-person identity verification. To choose the in-person identity verification follow the steps below.
- Open your USPS account on the browser.
- Click on the Informed Delivery located at the top right corner of the page.
- Click on Enroll and then select Informed Delivery, which is located in the Account Management section.
- If you haven’t verified your identity online within 72 hours, tap on Verify your Identity and then click on Enroll in Informed Delivery.
- Select the Opt-in under in-person identity verification.
- Select the Identity Proofing facility near your location and click on Continue to In-Person Proofing.
- A new page will appear with more information and you will also receive an email with further instructions.
Check your eligibility
