What If…? by Marvel is an animated series showcasing alternate realities in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The first season debuted in August 2021, quickly caught the audience’s attention, and garnered a rating of 7.4 out of 10 on IMDB.
The web series features Captain Carter, T’Challa as Star-Lord, Doctor Strange Supreme, and Ultron’s takeover of the universe. The unique selling point of this series was the introduction of Watcher, a creature existing beyond the realities of space and time, getting mixed with the affairs of the mortals. The new series also introduced us to a new character named Kahhori.

What If season 2 release date
Given the response of the audience to season one of What If…?, there have been many rumours regarding the season 2 release date. The web series was renewed for a second season even before the first one even premiered given the highly charged audience reaction.
However, the pandemic spoiled the plans of the developers and the audience. The studio also had to cut down the episodes from ten to nine.
What If…? season 2 will premiere on December 22, 2023, with the episodes releasing until December 30.
We got the first look at the trailer on November 16, 2023, showcasing new alternate realities.
