Why is my Shein package stuck in shipped?

Shein is one of the most affordable online fashion stores you’ll come across. While the collections it hosts might not be as big as some of its much larger-scale rivals, the platform still holds up thanks to its aggressively priced items.

That said, the overall experience using Shein is also not too bad. However, unless you’re living in China, chances are your order is international and that can mean potential shipping delays and other complications.

In this article, we’re talking about why is your Shein package stuck in transit or on a ‘shipped’ status on the app and what you can do about the situation.

Just wait it out

One of the biggest issues with Shein is the fact that most of its orders are placed internationally which means the sellers often take a lot of time to get the packages moving. You might have to wait for as long as seven to ten days for the package to actually get shipped to you so some patience is going to be helpful here.

Clear the app cache

There’s also a chance that your order has shipped but the delivery status on the app hasn’t been updated yet because of a bug, glitch or corruption in the app’s cache. Deleting the cache and restarting the app will force it to refresh everything and potentially update your package’s delivery status, here’s how.

How to fix the 'Instagram notifications not working' issue?
  • Tap on Apps and notifications.
  • Tap on Show all apps and find Shein from the list. If you’ve recently used Shein, it’ll show up in the recent apps as well.
  • Tap on Shein.

  • Then tap on Storage & cache.
  • Then tap on the Clear Cache button.

This should resolve the problem.

Use an express shipping service

Since your Shein order is most likely international, you can try getting it shipped using DHL’s Express Shipping or any other international courier’s express shipping service. Their delivery times will almost always be faster than Shein’s local delivery partners. Experienced international couriers will also be able to better handle any customs complications your shipped product might run into.

Do keep in mind that your shipping costs might increase significantly, however.

Reach out to Shein

If nothing else works, your best bet is to reach out to Shein’s customer support and figure out what’s going on with your package. There’s a good chance your package might just be stuck at a customs office, your local courier distribution centre or any other processing point between the seller and you. Shein support can figure out the package details and communicate them to you or redeliver the item in case of any complications.
