How to fix the issue?
If you are unable to sign out of your Apple ID then we have explained a few ways that might help you fix the issue.
Restart the device
Restarting your device is the best solution for any problem, and it also works most of the time in resolving the issues. If the errors are being caused by some minor bugs or glitches or interference by other apps on your device, then it might solve them.
Check your internet connection
It might be possible that you are unable to sign out of your Apple ID because you are not getting a stable connection. So restart your WiFi and if there is any with your WiFi then switch to Cellular data on your iPhone.
Check the iCloud backup
If there is any iCloud backup in the process then you have two options either let it complete the backup or cancel it. To cancel iCloud backup, follow the steps mentioned below.
- Go to Settings then select your Apple ID.
- Then go to iCloud.
- Then scroll down and select iCloud Backup.
- You can stop the backup on the next page.
Disable Screen time restrictions
Enabling a screen time or restriction passcode on your iPhone may cause issues with the signing out of Apple ID on the device. To disable screen time restriction go to Settings> Screen Time> Turn off Screen Time.
If you have set a passcode for the screen time, then enter the passcode and confirm to turn off the screen time.
Factory reset your phone
