The Playstation 4 is a household name by this point in time. From kids to grown adults, gamers of all age groups own and enjoy playing their favourite games on the console.
The game library is immaculate, and there are many exclusives like God of War and The Last of Us that you can only play on the Playstation.
Just like everything tech, there’s an initial setup procedure when you get your hands on the PS4, or just about any console for that matter. You’re going to need a Playstation Network (PSN) account to be able to use your console to the best of its abilities.
However, often setting things up is a tedious process, and people tend to overlook the minor things. In this article, we’re talking about how you can change your age on the PS4.
Your age is an important aspect of your PSN account as it can restrict you from playing or browsing certain content and games.
How to change your age on PSN/PS4?
Note that there is no official way of changing your age on your PSN account once you’ve created one. This method is simply a workaround which is supposed to confirm your age. It just so happens that this is the only point where you can completely change it as well.
Step 1: Head over to this link using your PC or smartphone. Type in the email associated with your PSN ID and click on the sign-in button.
Step 2: You’ll be asked to enter your password. Go ahead and type that in as well.
Step 3: In case you have two-factor authentication turned on, you’ll receive an OTP on your phone as well. Go ahead and type it in to finish the logging in process.
Step 4: On the next page, you’ll be asked to confirm your birthdate. Be sure to enter the correct date this time around as this is the last chance you’ll get at being able to change your age.
