You have to follow these steps:

  • Open your profile.
  • Tap on Edit Profile option.

Note: You need to keep in mind that Instagram does not allow repetitive usernames. So, if someone is already using a username and you try to choose the same username, Instagram will not accept it, and you’ll have to choose a different one.

Who can see your Instagram profile?

Your name, bio and posts are visible to everyone by default as your profile is set to Public. If you want your posts (including those with hashtags) and profile information to only be available to your followers, you can set your profile to Private via Settings on the app or the web.
