The internet has unarguably created a more connected world with the same tools and services available online to everyone on the globe. However, it’s not all that simple as not all of us speak the same language.

Payment platforms like Paypal have a presence in a majority of the countries globally and also offers transactions between most of the currencies. However, to be able to operate any platform, it’s important that it’s presented in a language you understand.

If the default language of your Paypal account isn’t your preferred one, here is how you can change the language in a few simple steps. If you don’t understand the currently selected language at all, simply follow the markings in the screenshots below (attached to the steps) to make the changes.

Once you’ve selected your preferred language, the changes will be saved automatically.

It’s possible that you might not see the changed language on Paypal immediately. To see the changes, log out of your Paypal account and log in again. The website should be in your preferred language once the changes are made. Also, all the email correspondence you receive from Paypal will be in the language that you’ve selected.

If you can’t find the language in the dropdown menu, it’s quite possible that Paypal is only providing languages that are available in your current location. You can contact Paypal here to troubleshoot further.
