Content geo-restriction is a big headache for the worldwide audience which often gets restricted from their favourite content just because they live in another part of the world.
There are numerous ways to get around geo-restrictions that companies put in place. Perhaps the most common and easy one is to simply use a VPN. However, in case you’re trying to jump past geo-restrictions on a PS4, changing your region on the PS4 itself might just be a more reliable solution.

Changing regions on the PS4
So the thing is, you can’t quite change the region on your PSN ID, as Sony doesn’t allow that. We’re going to have to make a new account. When you do make a new one, you won’t be able to access any of your games from the old account.
Content on the Playstation Store is geo-restricted to some extent. While you may be able to access games in another region, the DLC content is region locked. Here’s what you need to do.
Step 1: Head over to your power options.

Step 2: Go to Switch User.

Step 3: Create a new user by clicking on New User.

Step 4: You’ll be asked if you want to create a user or play as a guest. Simply click on Create a User and accept all the license terms and agreements.

Step 5: Click on Create an account button,

Step 6: Click Sign up now.

Step 7: You’ll see options to set your country, region and date of birth. Click on Next when you’re done.

Now proceed with the sign-up procedure using an email that is not associated with your existing PSN ID. Once you’re done, your new account will be set to whichever region you select.
