Changing your name on Twitter’s website on PC
Login to your account on Twitter.com and follow the steps mentioned below to change your Twitter name.
Step 1: Click on the Profile option from the sidebar menu to the left of the screen. Then on your profile page, click on the Edit profile button, located to the right of your profile picture, below the header image.
Step 2: On the Edit profile pop-up box, edit your name under the heading Name and then click on the Save button at the top-right of the box.
Refresh your profile page to see your updated name on Twitter.

Changing your name on Twitter’s app for Android and iOS
Open the Twitter app on your Android or iOS device and follow the steps mentioned below to change your name on Twitter.
- Tap on the hamburger (triple horizontal bars) menu icon at the top-left corner of the app window.
- From the options that appear on the side panel to the left, either tap on the Profile option or your profile picture.
- On your profile page, tap on the Edit profile button.
- On the next page, edit your name under Name.
- Then tap on the Save button at the top-right of the screen.
Refresh your app and you’ll see the updated name.
