Having a unique identity on the internet is highly coveted and if you’ve got a generic username on mega social networks like Twitter, then chances are that people won’t be able to find you as easily compared to when you have a unique one.
While names on Twitter can be duplicated, usernames have to be unique, which instantly means that Twitter handles get more recognition than names of those profiles. You might’ve even seen references of people made online directed to their Twitter handles.
Now if you’re looking to change your Twitter username but can’t find how to, here’s a simple guide that’ll help you in a few steps.
