How to connect AirPods to a laptop?

Connecting AirPods to a laptop

If you have Airpods and want to connect them to a laptop, follow the steps below.

Step 1: Before you start with the computer stuff, place your AirPods in their charging case, close it, and give it a few seconds. The earbuds need to have at least 20% battery for pairing.

Step 2: To connect Airpods to a Windows laptop, turn on Bluetooth, press the Windows + I to open settings, and then click on the Devices option.

Step 3: Turn the toggle on below Bluetooth.

Step 4: Now, click the Add Bluetooth or other device above the Bluetooth option.

Step 5: Click the Bluetooth option in the Add a Device window.

Step 6: Open the AirPods case and press and hold the Setup button until you notice LED lights start flashing White. The LED are inside in older AirPods and on the front in the AirPods Pro.

Step 7: After some time laptop will detect the nearby Bluetooth devices. From the list, choose the AirPods.

Step 8: A window should appear saying Your device is ready to go; click on Done. After this point, the earbuds should connect to the laptop automatically. If not, find them in the list of available Bluetooth devices and click pair.


How to remove AirPods from a laptop?

to remove the connected Airpods, follow the steps below.

Step 1: Press the Windows + I to open settings and click the Devices option.

Step 2: Under Audio, click on AirPods and then click on the Remove device button.
