CricHD: Everything you need to know

Sports streaming sites are often locked behind a paywall courtesy of their respective broadcast partners. However, that isn’t always the case, especially since most streams now happen over the internet.

However, for copyrighted content like live sports broadcasts, there aren’t many great sites that provide streams for free.

One such website is CricHD. In this article, we’re talking about CricHD so that you know everything that there is to know about the site before you log on to watch your favourite sports streams.

What is CricHD?

CricHD is a free sports streaming website that specialises in, you guessed it, Cricket. However, that’s not the only game you can watch on the site. The site also shows a few football streams on the side for those looking to watch their favourite teams battle rivals without having to pay for a premium subscription to a sports streaming service.

In addition to these two beautiful sports, CricHD also includes Rugby, F1, UFC and Boxing streams, among a few others occasionally.

Is CricHD legal?

The way CricHD works is rather simple. The site collects multiple streams for different providers and gives them to you with a rather simple to navigate interface. CricHD pulls streams from the following providers:

  • Sky Sports Cricket
  • Star Sports 1
  • Star Sports 2
  • Star Sports 3
  • Sports HD
  • FTV Sports
  • Ten Sports
  • BT Sport 1
  • Fox Cricket
  • Willow HD
  • Willow Xtra
  • Sky Sports Mix
  • Super Sports
  • Sony ESPN
  • Sony Six
  • S Cricket
  • Ten 1

While CricHD is an ad-supported free-to-stream platform, most of its streams are copyrighted by the official broadcasters — Fox, Star, ESPN and Willow TV.

Most such sites might violate copyright laws as sports streams as mostly properties of their respective broadcasters. We do not support or encourage breaking any sorts of laws, cyber or otherwise. Please check your local laws before visiting any such sites to avoid getting into trouble.

There’s also a live chat right next to the streaming window that lets you interact with other people watching the same stream in real-time.
