How to delete Credit Karma account?

Credit Karma is an American multinational personal finance company, it was founded in 2007. Credit Karma allows its users to view their credit scores and reports from TransUnion and Equifax for free. It has more than 85 million customers in the United States and Canada. It provides tools that help its users maintain, monitor and improve their credit health.

How to delete the Credit Karma account?

If you think you no longer need Credit Karma or it isn’t made for you, you can delete the Credit Karma account to do that follow the steps below:

  • Open the Credit Karma website or app and log in to your Credit Karma account.
  • On the Homepage, Click on the Menu (Triple horizontal lines) icon at the top right corner of the screen.
  • Now Click on the Profile option.
  • Scroll to the bottom and then click on Close my account.
  • Credit Karma will give you a warning message where it will ask you to confirm whether you want to delete your account permanently or not. If you are sure about deleting the account then click on Yes, close my account.

Once you delete your account all your data will be deleted permanently and you won’t be able to use any of the tools and information on Credit karma.

Save or copy all the information that you think is important and may come in use in future before deleting the account.


Can you make a new Credit Karma account after you have deleted your old Credit Karma account?

Yes, you can create a new account after you have deleted your old account.

You can create a new account anytime you need the services of Credit Karma, but you must keep in mind that even if you create a new account you won’t be able to regain access to the information that was stored in your old account.
