Which Discord ID are you looking for?
There are two IDs on Discord. One is the publicly available ID you represent yourself with on the platform and give it to friends to add you to their friend list. Other is a user ID assigned by Discord which will pretty much only be used when you’re developing something.
How to get your public user ID on Discord?
To copy your public User ID, click on your username at the bottom of the screen on both mobile and PC applications of Discord to copy your user ID to the clipboard.
How to get Discord developer user ID on PC?
Before we get started on fetching your user ID, we first have to enable developer mode. Here’s how.
Step 1: Open Discord and click on the settings gear icon under your username.

Step 2: Head over to the Advanced tab and enable the Developer Mode slider.

Now that we have developer mode enabled, we can fetch our user ID.
Step 3: Right-click on your username in a server or DM chat and click on Copy ID. You can copy other users’ IDs as well.

How to get Discord developer user ID on phone?
The same drill goes on for the phone app. You first need to enable the developer mode, and then you can copy user IDs left and right.

- Open Discord and tap on your user avatar in the bottom-right.
- Scroll down and tap Behaviour.
- Enable the Developer Mode slider.

- Head over to a server or DM and tap and hold the user whose ID you want to copy.
- Tap the Copy ID button at the bottom.
