Light, for many, means hope, education, comfort, and luxury. As it became a commodity in the form of bulbs, tube lights, and torches earlier, it has evolved today to a digital screen with a flashlight option at the back. It is a quicker option than the earlier sources of light and continues to become a part of our digital devices, including our iPads.

Switching on your light
The flashlight feature did not exist in the 2015 iPad Pro models, iPad Air till the third generation, and iPad Mini till the fifth generation. Even the ninth-generation iPad does not have a flashlight. To check if you have a flashlight on your iPad, turn it around to see if there is an LED on the back. If it is missing, then the flash camera is not an option on your iPad.
You can switch on your iPad’s flashlight by following the steps given below:
Control Centre
Swipe down on the right side of your iPad to show the icons in the Control Panel. In this panel, you will find the flashlight icon. Tap on it to switch on the light. You can also adjust the screen’s brightness by pressing and holding the flashlight button.

In case, you are unable to view this button, visit your Settings and tap on the Control Centre icon. Check if the Flashlight control is available and then tap on that control option, which will be visible under More Controls. The flashlight option will then be visible in the Control Panel.
