Cloud storage is increasingly becoming popular due to the sheer convenience it offers and with big tech companies such as Google, Microsoft and Amazon, among few others having heavily marketed their consumer cloud storage products over the past few years, the market seems a bit overwhelming.
However, if you’re an Apple users, iCloud is your way in all probability as it allows ease of use as well as a native environment that functions well.
If you’re new to the Apple experience or have just started delving into what iCloud offers and can’t seem to find the option to download your photos from iCloud, here is how you can select all the photos and download them in a few easy steps as well as download multiple or a single photo from iCloud.

How to download photos from iCloud?
Login to your account on icloud.com and follow the steps below. Alternatively, you can also go directly to icloud.com/photos and skip the first step.
Step 1: On your iCloud account’s homepage, click on the Photos icon.
Step 2: On the next page, select the photo you want to download and then click on the Download icon from the options at the top-right corner of the website window.
If you want to select multiple photos, press the Ctrl or Command key on the keyboard of your Windows or Mac PC. respectively and then click on all the photos you want to select.
You can either remove photos from the selection by clicking on them again with Ctrl or Command key pressed or if you want to remove all the photos from the selection, click on the Deselect all option at the top-right of the page.

How to download all photos from iCloud?
I’ve been often asked by my friends that how does one select all the photos in the iCloud account and download them? And I guess you might have the same question too. Well, the answer is quite straight and simple.
While you might not expect for your usual keyboard shortcuts that can be put to work in the file explorer of your PC to select all the files to work on a website on your PC’s browser, that’s exactly what happens here.
Go to icloud.com/photos and follow the steps below to download all photos from your iCloud account.
If you want to select all the photos in iCloud, all you need to do is press Ctrl+A on Windows or Command+A on Mac on the Photos window of your iCloud account (as shown in the screenshot below) and then click on the Download icon from the options at the top-right of the website window.
You can also view the number of selected files below the download icon. All the photos will be downloaded in a zip file and stored at the download location set in your browser.
