Samsung announced a stripped-down version or Fan Edition of its Galaxy Tab S7 on Wednesday. The tab goes on sale in the US starting 5 August starting at $669 for the 5G variant and $529.99 for the WiFi variant preorders will start on the same day. The WiFi variant will be available starting September.Â
The FE edition of the tablet combines features from both the S7 and S7+ tablets including the big 12.4-inch screen, the S-Pen and a pretty big 10,090mAh battery.

Delivering on the fan’s expectations
Both the 5G and the WiFi variant come with a 12.4-inch 2560×1600 TFT LCD. The 5G variant is powered by the Snapdragon 750G and the WiFi one runs the Qualcomm SM7325 chipset.
Other than that, both tablets share a lot of features. They both get 4GB RAM accompanied by 64GB internal storage which is expandable up to 1 TB. You also get an 8MP camera at the back with a 5MP front shooter. All the internals are powered by a 10,090mAh battery which remains the same across variants.

Samsung’s low-latency S-Pen is included in the box as well. Samsung has packed in a few software features to further extend the tab’s functionality, including the ability to use the tablet as a secondary monitor for your PC. Users can also get a YouTube Premium subscription for up to four months on a purchase.

Availability
The 5G variant will be available in the US starting 5 August with a starting price of $669. The tablet will be available at Samsung.com, AT&T and Verizon. Availability will come to T-Mobile, UScellular and other retailers in a few days.

The WiFi model however will be available for preorders only on 5 August starting at $529.99 and will come in four different colours. Any customer who either purchases the 5G variant or preorders the WiFi variant will receive $80 in Samsung Store credits as well.
