How to fix the issue?
Here are a few ways that might help you fix the issue:
Enable automatic downloads
Many users have resolved this issue by enabling automatic downloads; if you haven’t enabled the automatic downloads yet, then follow the steps below to enable it:
Step 1: Open GeForce Experience and click on the Settings icon beside your Profile icon at the top right corner of the screen.
Step 2: In Settings, click on General in the sidebar and on the right side of the screen, checkmark the box beside Automatically download driver updates and let me choose when to install.
Step 3: Relaunch the GeForce Experience, check for updates and install it. If you still fail to download the updates, then follow the other methods below.
Disable Firewall and Antivirus temporarily
Sometimes, the security software on your computer, like firewalls and antivirus, can mistakenly take downloads as potentially harmful files and stop them from downloading, resulting in failed downloads. You can disable your firewall and antivirus while downloading the driver to fix this. But don’t forget to enable them once the download is finished.
