Adding a song to your Facebook profile
Facebook launched this feature long ago, but the place to access this feature changed recently. If you wish to use add a song feature, then follow the steps below.
- Open the Facebook app on your phone and tap on the Profile tab.
- On your profile page, tap the Menu (trip horizontal dots) button beside the Edit Profile button.
- In the Profile Settings, tap on the Search option.
- Now, tap on the Music option.
- On the Music list screen, tap on the Plus icon at the top right corner.
- Either choose from the list of songs or search for a song and tap on it to add it to your music list and return to the previous screen.
- In the Music list, tap on the Triple horizontal dots icon beside the song you want to add to your profile and then tap on Pin to profile in the menu at the bottom of the screen.
- The song will be added to your profile, just below your Facebook profile name.
How to replace the song?
To replace the song on your profile, follow the steps below.
- Tap on the Triple horizontal dots button beside the song on your Facebook profile.
- In the menu, tap on the Replace song option.
- Search for your song, choose from the list, and tap on it.
- Your song on the profile will be replaced.
How to unpin or remove the song from your Facebook profile?
Unpining the song means removing it from your Facebook profile. To unpin the song from your Facebook profile, follow the steps below.
- Tap on the Triple horizontal dots button beside the song on your Facebook profile.
- In the menu, tap on the Unpin from profile option to remove it from your profile.
How to delete the song from your Facebook profile?
Deleting a song will not only remove it from your profile but will also delete the song from your music list. To delete the song, follow the steps below.
- Tap on the Triple horizontal dots button beside the song on your Facebook profile.
- In the menu, tap on the Delete song from profile option, and it will be removed from your profile and your music list too.
