How to change the Paytm password?
Paytm does not provide any direct option from the app to change the password, you have to reset your password by calling the IVR helpline. Here’s how to do it:
Step 1: Call 01204888488 or 0120-4456-456 from your mobile number registered with Paytm and select your preferred language.
Step 2: Then press 1. The call will get disconnected, and you’ll receive a reset password link via SMS and email associated with your Paytm account.
Step 3: Tap on the reset password link, enter the new password and then confirm your password.
When setting your new password, please keep the following requirements in mind:
- Your password must be at least 5 characters long.
- It should include at least 1 number.
- It should also include at least 1 letter of the alphabet.
Kindly note that the link to reset your password will only be valid for 10 minutes. This is to ensure the security of your Paytm account and prevent any potential misuse. Therefore, it’s important to reset your password as soon as you receive the link.
