How to find someone on Discord using Username tags?
If you know the username tag of the person you want to add as a friend on Discord, open the Discord app and follow the steps below.

- Then, in the friend list, tap on the Add Friends icon at the top right corner of the screen.
- You must know the full username tag of the person you want to add; type in the username in the Add via username box and tap on the Send Friend Request button.

If you have someone’s phone number saved, you can find them through their contact number on Discord. To find someone through contact on Discord, open the Discord app and follow the steps below.
- Tap on the Friends icon at the bottom panel.
- In the friend list, tap on the Add Friends icon at the top right corner of the screen.
- Tap on the Find your friends option, and if you haven’t synced your contacts with Discord, then it will ask you to sync them so it can find people from your contacts who are on Discord.
