Discord launched in 2015 as a small gaming centred communication app. Since then, it has come a long way and is now used for everything from just chilling with your friends to creating and hosting online classes.
As Discord servers transcend boundaries, the company has dropped its focus on gaming and since then has been trying to provide the best experience for its users regardless of why they use the app.
There are numerous official communities for games, software like Illustrator, Photoshop, Blender and even YouTubers like Dave2D have their communities running on Discord.
It’s extremely easy to set up your own servers and customise them down to your liking. You can add bots to add functionality such as playing music in voice channels or even sending memes. There are bots to automate server tasks such as assigning roles as well.
Discord also takes care of its user’s security. Server admins can control who can join their servers and who can do what. There’s two-factor authentication built-in as well.
In this article, we’re going to take a look at how you can log out of Discord.
