There are two main ways you can print from a Chromebook: You can either link your Chromebook directly to a printer using a USB cable or connect your Chromebook to a printer through a WiFi connection, enabling you to print remotely.
Connect a printer via USB
Connecting your Chromebook to the printer using the USB cable is the easiest way. You must grab the USB cable and connect one end to your printer and the other to your Chromebook. If you use this method, there’s no requirement for your printer to be connected to WiFi for printing.

Connect a printer via WiFi
Connecting the printer to your Chromebook is an easy process, and here are the steps to do that:
Step 1: Power on your printer and connect it to your WiFi. How you connect a printer to Wi-Fi can differ from one model to another. If you need help connecting it to the WiFi, refer to the printer’s manual or its manufacturer’s website.
Step 2: On your Chromebook, click on the Clock on the Chromebook shelf, and then in the notification menu, click on the Settings icon.
Step 3: In the search box, type Print and click on the Add printer from the results.
Step 4: A list will appear; click on your Printer’s name and then the Set up button.
How to print from a Chromebook?
After you’ve successfully added the printer you want and connected your Chromebook to it, you can now print the documents you require. Whether using a USB cable or WiFi, printing a document from a Chromebook remains the same. To print from your Chromebook, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Open the document, image or page you want to print and press Ctrl + P keys together.
Step 2: In the Destination, select your printer. Most of the time, the printer you are connected with will appear automatically in the Destination. Change any desired print settings. After you are done, click on the Print button.
