How to become a seller on Meesho?
To sell on Meesho, you must register as a seller on Meesho; we have explained below the steps to become a seller on Meesho and the things you need to know to complete those steps.
Step 1: Create a Meesho seller account
The first step to start selling on Meesho is to create an account on Meesho as a seller at supplier.meesho.com. You will need a few things to create an account on Meesho as a seller.
- Mobile Number and Email ID
- GST number, and
- An active bank account with the same GST number.
Once you have provided this information, it will ask you to enter your store name and address, enter it, and your seller account will be created. You won’t need to pay registration fees or commissions to start your online business on their platform.
Step 2: Upload your catalogue to Meesho Supplier Panel
What is Meesho Supplier Panel?
The Meesho supplier panel is where you can manage your online business. Using the Meesho supplier panel, you can add catalogues, list your products, manage inventory, process orders, track payments, and do many more things.
What is Catalogue?
A catalogue is a list of products that you want to sell. You can bulk upload one or multiple catalogues using a CSV (excel) file. Each catalogue can have at least one product and a maximum of nine products of the same category.
For instance, if you want to sell six sarees, you can upload all six sarees together in one catalogue. However, you must upload separate catalogues for each category if you want to sell one saree and one kurta.
Upload the Catalogue
To upload your product catalogues, visit the Meesho Supplier Panel. You can upload one or multiple catalogues at once using an Excel sheet. Creating catalogues with at least three to four products is recommended, especially if they have multiple designs, as this increases your chances of getting orders.
After cataloguing, it takes about 72 hours for your products to become live and available for customers to see and purchase.
Step 3: Receive, pack and ship orders
When you get an order for your product, you will receive an email notification. You can also track the order on the Meesho Supplier panel. Meesho offers the lowest shipping cost for deliveries anywhere in India.
Once you receive an order, Meesho’s logistics partner will pick up the product from your location and deliver it directly to the customer.
Step 4: Receive payments for completed orders
Your payments for orders are securely deposited into your bank account on the seventh day after the order is delivered, including Cash on Delivery orders.
For example, if your product is delivered on 1st August 2023, the payment for that order will be deposited in your bank account on 8th August 2023. You can easily check your deposited balance and future payments on the Meesho Supplier Panel.
