Setting an alarm on your Apple Watch is easy and convenient, and you can do it differently. If you own an Apple Watch, you might want to use it as a handy device to wake you up or remind you of important events.

This article will show you how to set an alarm on your Apple Watch using the watch itself, the iPhone app, or Siri.

3 methods of setting an alarm on Apple Watch

In this section, we’ll present three methods by which you can easily set an alarm on your Apple Watch:

One of the simplest ways to set an alarm on your Apple Watch is to use the watch itself.

Here are the steps to do so:

  • Open the Alarms app on your Apple Watch and then head to Add Alarm.
  • Use the Digital Crown to adjust AM or PM and hours or minutes. You can skip this step when using a 24-hour time.
  • Tap on Set to confirm the alarm time.

Optionally, you can tap on Repeat to choose which days of the week you want the alarm to go off. You can also tap on Label to give your alarm a name, such as Workout or Meeting.

Method 2: Setting an alarm using the iPhone app

Another way to set an alarm on your Apple Watch is to use the iPhone app. This method lets you sync your alarms between your iPhone and your Apple Watch.

Here are the steps to follow:

  • To set the alarm on your iPhone, go to the plus icon at the top right of the screen > Set the alarm and then tap Save. After that, open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.
  • To sync the alarms on both iPhone and Apple Watch, head to My Watch > Clock > turn on Push Alerts from iPhone.

Method 3: Setting an alarm using Siri

The third way to set an alarm on your Apple Watch is to use Siri. This method is useful to quickly set an alarm without opening any app.

Raise your wrist or press and hold the Digital Crown to activate Siri and then say something like “Set an alarm for 7 a.m” or “Wake me up in 30 minutes”.
