The wallpaper settings in Windows 11 are quite similar to Windows 10; they’re just tucked away differently. Here’s how to set different wallpapers.

Setting wallpapers on different monitors
If you have multiple monitors and want different wallpapers, here’s how.
Step 1: Press the Windows key + I to open Windows settings and click the Personalise tab.

Step 2: Head over to Background.

Step 3: Click Browse photos and select the photo you want.

Step 4: Once the photo is selected, you can right-click the photo and choose the monitor you want.

Alternatively, you can also select different fits for your wallpaper to choose how it shows across monitors. You have the following options in Windows 11.
- Fill: This option will zoom out the wallpaper to make it fill the entire display.
- Fit: Fits the wallpaper without stretching across monitor(s).
- Stretch: Stretches the wallpaper in length to fit the monitor(s).
- Tile: Squares off the wallpaper.
- Center: Set the wallpaper in the centre of the monitor without any stretching or zooming.
- Span: Fits the wallpaper across multiple monitors.

Setting wallpapers for different desktops
As you might know, Windows also allows users to have different desktops. You can customise wallpapers for different desktops by following these steps.
Step 1: Press the Windows key + I to open Windows settings and click the Personalise tab.

Step 2: Head over to Background.

Step 3: Click Browse photos and select the photo you want.

Step 4: Right-click the image you just loaded, hover over the Set for Desktop option and choose the desktop you want.
