With demonetisation and the government’s increased focus on cashless transactions, the people started using cashless transactions more than cash and Paytm was one of the major companies which got the benefit of it. The company touched a record of 70 lakh cashless transactions after demonetisation. However, growth has been relatively slow since.
The company plans on expanding its user base more and to do it needs to expand to the rural areas which are now well-connected to the internet and have access to the smartphones. Paytm app is now being offered in different languages such as Hindi, Marathi, Telugu, and many more regional languages. To use Paytm in Hindi or in any other regional language, you need to download the Paytm app.
How to change the app language to Hindi?
If you want to change the app language to Hindi, follow the steps below.
- Open the Paytm app and click on the Menu option beside the search bar at the top of the screen.
- Scroll down until you find Choose Language.
- Select Hindi and click on Continue
- It will change the app language to Hindi.
