Adding a link in bio in Instagram app for Android and iOS

Launch the app and follow the steps below.

• Tap on the Profile (with your profile picture) tab, last tab from the left in the tab bar at the bottom of the screen.
• Then tap on Edit profile button below your profile information.
• On the next screen, type the link you want to add in your bio under the website tab and then tap on the Tick mark at the top=right corner of the screen.
• You will be able to see the link you have entered below your name.

If you have a private account then only your followers will be able to see the link.

Adding a link in bio in Instagram website

Open the website on any browser on your PC and follow the steps below.

Step 1: Click on your username at the top besides your Instagram feed to open your profile page.

Step 2: On the next screen click on the Edit profile button besides your username below the search bar.

Step 3: Then in the profile information box under Website tab, type the link and then click on the Submit button at the bottom of the screen.

You will be able to see the link you have entered below your name. If you have a private account then only your followers will be able to see that link and if you have a public account then everyone can see that link in your bio.
