League of Legends is one of the most popular RPG games worldwide — running in its tenth season — and has one of the largest esports tournaments too. If all the LOL madness has gripped you too and you’re ready to be a summoner, you should first see if your machine can handle League of Legends.
LOL is one of the most highly rated games but still doesn’t need a lot of machine power to run it smoothly. While it’s always advisable to look at the recommended system requirements for games, if going a bit low on graphics doesn’t bother you much and the gameplay is enough for you to get started, we’ve listed the system requirements of League of Legends below.
Check out the minimum and recommended system requirements for playing League of Legends (LOL) on Windows and Mac. We’ve also talked about the minimum configuration file supplied by Riot to help those with low-spec PCs to be able to play the game.
Note: Riot’s League of Legends only supports genuine copies of Microsoft Windows and full OS X releases.

LOL MinConfig (Windows)
MinConfig Settings are basically preset from Riot Games, which helps to set your games settings to the bare minimum required and is very helpful in case your PC is lagging while loading or playing the game due to some settings that may be stressing your hardware more than its capabilities.
You can download the MinConfig settings file here and unzip the file. Then log in to your Riot/League of Legends account and go to the “Config” folder on your local drive. If you kept the settings to default while installing the game, you’ll find it at the following address in your windows explorer: C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\Config.
Now copy the game.cfg and PersistedSettings.json files from the unzipped MinConfig file to the “Config” folder — Copy and Replace the files if prompted. Now start a custom game and it’ll run on the minimum configurations.
