Lenovo has announced its Snapdragon 870 powered Tab P12 Pro in India. The tablet comes with up to 8GB RAM, 256G UFS 3.1 storage and a 10,200 mAh battery, with the company claiming up to 14.6 hours of battery life.
There’s a 12.6-inch AMOLED display running at 2560 x 1600 resolution with Dolby Vision support, 107% NTSC colour gamut and 400 nits brightness. The screen also gets Corning Gorilla Glass 5 to protect for as much as twice the protection against scratches and slim bezels for more screen space.
There are two cameras on the back, a 13MP wide-angle primary shooter paired with a 5MP ultrawide camera. There’s an 8MP camera on the front and a ToF sensor.
The tablet features a quad-speaker setup tuned by JBL for better audio performance and the Qualcomm WCD9385 codec with deep learning algorithms and Acoustic Echo Cancellation. Users also get Lenovo Premium Audio design and tuning optimised with Dolby Atmos and a dual microphone array.
Last but not least, the tablet also supports Lenovo’s Precision Pen 3, which magnetically attaches to the side of the device whilst charging itself wirelessly.
Price and release date
The Tab P12 Pro launches on June 9 at ₹69,999 and will be available across Lenovo’s website, Amazon and select Lenovo stores. Availability at other offline retail stores is expected soon.
