Lenovo announces 7 Yoga laptops and an all-in-one desktop

Lenovo has announced seven laptops and an all-in-one in the Yoga lineup. The Yoga Slim 9i is the flagship device powered by 12th-gen Intel P-series i5 or i7 processors, while the other lineups, namely Yoga Slim 7i Pro X, Yoga Slim 7i Pro and Yoga Slim 7i Carbon, all get options between Intel and AMD CPUs.

The new all-in-one, the Yoga AIO 7 and another laptop, the Yoga 7, and the 14-inch variant of the Yoga Slim 7 Pro, will not be available in the US. The rest of the lineup will go on sale starting June 2022.

The Yoga Slim 9i starts at $1,799, Yoga Slim 7i Pro X starts at $1,699 and the AMD powered Yoga Slim 7 Pro X starts at $1,499. For the lower-trim Yoga Slim 7i Pro, prices start at $1,199 and the AMD-based Yoga Slim 7 Pro starts at $1,499. The Yoga Slim 7i Carbon starts at $ 1,299 and the prices for the Yoga 7 and Yoga AIO 7 haven’t been announced yet.

Yoga Slim 9i

The Yoga Slim 9i will be powered by 12th generation Core i5 or i7 processors and come with 16GB or 32GB LPDDR5 RAM. There are two display options coming in at 2.8k and 4k, with both panels being touch compatible and OLED. Graphics are powered by Intel’s Iris Xe, and powering the machine is a 75Whr battery.

Yoga Slim 7 series

The Yoga Slim 7 series gets five different laptops powered by both Intel and AMD CPUs, except for the Carbon lineup, which only gets Intel CPUs.

Yoga Slim 7i Pro X and Slim 7 Pro X

The Slim 7iPro X gets Intel’s 12th-generation H-series i7 and i5 variants, with the AMD versions getting their Ryzen equivalents going as high as the Ryzen 9 6900HS. Apart from the different processors, the two laptops are almost identical in terms of specs, with the AMD variants get slightly faster RAM at 6400MHz than the Intel version’s 6000MHz.

The Slim 7i Pro X and the Slim 7 Pro X start at $1,699 and $1,499, respectively, and will be available in the US starting June 2022.

Yoga Slim 7i Pro and Slim 7 Pro

The Slim 7i Pro and Slim 7 Pro follow suit, with the Intel variant getting the option between 12th-gen P or H-series processors and AMD variants getting the choice between Ryzen 9, Ryzen 7 and Ryzen 5 processors. Once again, the RAM on the Ryzen models is faster, coming in at 6400MHz compared to the Intel-variant’s 4800MHz.

The 14-inch variant of the Slim 7i Pro will start at $1,199 and will be available beginning May 2022. The 16-inch Slim 7i Pro starts at $1,599 and will be available later in June.

As for the AMD-powered Slim 7 Pro, it won’t be available in the US but is expected to be available in selected geographical markets and doesn’t have a price yet. The larger 16-inch variant starts at $1,499 and will be available for sale in the US starting in June.

Yoga Slim 7i Carbon

As for the Slim 7i Carbon, you get the choice between Intel 12th-gen P-series i5 or i7, up to 32GB 4800MHz dual-channel RAM, Intel Iris Graphics and up to 1TB M.2 SSD for storage.

Yoga 7

The final laptop of the announcement is the Yoga 7 powered by your choice of AMD Ryzen 7 6800U or Ryzen 5 6600U, up to 32GB LPDDR5 RAM, up to 1 TB PCIe SSD and AMD Radeon 600M graphics. The screen is a 14-inch 2.8K OLED running at 2880 x 1800 resolution.

Yoga AIO 7

The last device in the announcement is a 27-inch all-in-one desktop from Lenovo powered by either the AMD Ryzen 7 6800H or Ryzen 5 6600H processors, up to 32GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1TB PCIe SSD. Graphics are handled by AMD Radeon RX 6600M (8GB GDDR6) and a Radeon 600 series integrated GPU.
