Sony is gearing up for yet another month of free games for its Playstation Plus members as this time around, PS4 and PS5 users, who are also PS Plus members, will get to play new titles Operation: Tango and Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown, and Star Wars: Squadrons starting June 1.
Star Wars in VR and Tango on PS5
While Virtua Fighter 5 and Star Wars Squadrons will be available on PS4 and PS5, Tango will only be available for free on PS5; its PS4 version won’t be accessible for free.
PS Plus members can also experience piloting starcrafts including the popular X-wing and TIE figher in Star Wars: Squadrons in virtual reality for free on PS VR.
When can you start downloading?
All three games can be downloaded starting Tuesday, June 1.
Until when are the PS Plus free games for June available?
- Operation: Tango will be available for free to Playstation Plus members until July 5.
- Virtua Fighter 5 will be available for free to Playstation Plus members until August 2.
- Star Wars Squadrons will be available for free to Playstation Plus members until July 5.
Virtual Fighter will be available for a relatively longer two-month period through June and July and is also releasing on Playstation Now in June.
PlayStation Plus free games for May are still available
Playstation Plus free games for May, which include Battlefield V, Stranded Deep and Wreckfest: Drive Hard Die Last, will be available to download for PS Plus members until May 31.
Note that Wreckfest: Drive Hard Die Last is only available for free on PS5 consoles.
