Disable REAgentC.exe

Step 2: Run the following command one after the other pressing enter after each command.
reagentc /disable
reagentc /enable

Rename the System and Software Registry Hive
The error could also be caused by a corrupt System or Software Registry hive. You can rename these to force Windows to generate new ones.
Step 1: Press Windows Key + X to open the Quick Access menu. Click on Command Prompt (Admin).

Step 2: Run the following command one after the other pressing enter after each command.
cd %windir%\system32\config
ren system system.001
ren software software.001
