Launched in 2012, Tinder is now one of the most popular dating apps, which has been downloaded over 340 million times and has over 6.2 million paying subscribers who are signed up to one of the three paid subscriptions — Tinder Plus, Gold and Platinum.

While Tinder Plus and Tinder Gold subscriptions are offered in all the 190 countries where the app is available, the company is testing Tinder Platinum subscription in select markets. Although the Platinum subscription isn’t available to most of the users worldwide, we’ve included it in the comparison to give you an idea of what might also be coming your way if Tinder expands its Platinum offering in more markets.

If the free Tinder subscription isn’t working for you and you want access to more premium features such as unlimited likes, rewind, see who likes you, more super likes, profile boost, global swiping access, top picks, ad-free experience among several others that are added with updates to the app, read on to learn what’s the difference between Tinder Plus, Tinder Gold and Tinder Platinum and if it’s worth your money to invest in any of these or the free version is good enough for you.

  • Tinder Plus: Available.

Ads

All the three paid Tinder subscriptions offer an ad-free experience.

Is getting a paid Tinder subscription worth your money?

Well, that really depends on how much the premium features that we’ve discussed above struck your fancy and if you want to try and see if your luck changes with a more powerful Tinder.

All the three premium subscriptions offered by Tinder are considerably different in price (varying on your country) but so are some of the features these subscriptions offer — giving you an edge over anyone who lacks a premium membership, or even your tier of membership.

If you think the additional features offered by any of Tinder’s paid subscriptions benefits you, give it a try and see if it helps up your game.
