via the Job Application setting

The first method involves accessing the Job Application settings. Here are the steps:

Step 1: Open LinkedIn and then click on the Me option at the top. After that, select the Settings and Privacy options from the drop-down menu.

Step 2: Now, select Data Privacy from the left options bar and then select Job application settings.

Step 3: Finally, select Upload resume and then select your resume file. The file should be less than 5MB and should only be in DOC, DOCX, or PDF format. To share your resume with recruiters, turn on the toggle beside the Share resume data with recruiters option.

The second method is to search for jobs and then select the Easy apply option. Here’s how to do this:

Step 1: Open LinkedIn and then click on the search bar at the top and then enter ‘job.’ After that, press Easy apply.

Step 2: Next, click on Easy Apply.

Step 3: Now, enter your email address, phone country code, and your mobile number. After you’re done, press Next.

Step 4: Click on Upload resume and then select the file. Here, the maximum size of the file is 2MB and the suggested file type is DOC, DOCX, and PDF. Make sure to follow the guidelines to seamlessly upload the files.

Step 5: Now, answer additional questions that LinkedIn asks and then select Review.

Step 6: Finally, press Submit application to finalise the process.

The third and final method to upload a resume on your LinkedIn is via your profile. Here are the steps:

Step 1: Open LinkedIn and then head to the Me option at the top. After that, select View profile.

Step 2: Now, click on Add profile section.

Step 3: Select the Add featured option under Recommended.

Step 4: Click on the Plus button and then select Add media. After that, select the resume and then provide a description. When you’re finally done, select Save and you’re good to go.
