Different statuses of green light
Here is the different status of the green light on the Xfinity cable box:

If your Comcast cable box’s green light blinks persistently, your Digital Adapter is not fully activated or authorised. To resolve this, you should contact Comcast’s customer service hotline.
Long and continuous blinking of the green light
When the green light on your digital box blinks continuously, it’s in its default hunt mode, which means it’s not ready for authorisation. Wait until you see at least two short blinks. Once that happens, it’s prepared for authorisation. If the continuous blinking persists, try turning the device off for five minutes and then back on. If that doesn’t work, get in touch with Customer Service.
