Reset the remote

Factory reset Xfinity voice remote with a setup button
- Press and hold the Setup button on your remote for about 5 seconds until the red light turns green.
- After that press the 9 then 8 and then the 1 button on your remote.
- Once the reset process is complete the light will blink green twice.
Factory reset Xfinity voice remote without a setup button
- Press and hold the A and D buttons on your remote simultaneously until the light on the remote turns green.
- After that press the 9 then 8 and then the 1 button on your remote.
- Once the reset process is complete the light will blink blue thrice.
Repair the remote
If resetting the remote doesn’t work, try re-pairing it with your TV box. To do this follow the steps below.
- Press and hold the Setup button on your remote until the red light turns green.
- Then, enter the code that appeared on the TV screen.
