Check if the file is opened somewhere else
You may have opened the file in two different windows on your PC; the Powerpoint will not be able to save the file if it is opened in two different places. So check if the file is opened somewhere else; if it is, close it and then try saving it again.
Copy and paste your work into a new PowerPoint file
Sometimes the file gets corrupted due to some issues, so you can copy all your data from that file, open a new blank Powerpoint file, paste your work, and then save it.
Check for corrupted images or files in your presentation
Corrupted images, files and slides might cause this error while saving the presentation as Powerpoint will be unable to save files; if there is any corrupted file in it, if you find any file that cannot be copied and pasted, then you might try removing it and try to save your file.

Check for file system errors

Step 1: Open the File explorer by clicking on the File Explorer icon.

Repair Microsoft Office

Step 1: Open Control Panel and then under programs, click on Uninstall programs option, which will directly take you to the programs and features.

Step 2: Find Microsoft Office and click on it; then click on the Change option available above all the programs.

Reinstall Microsoft Office
