Restart your PC
A simple restart can work wonders. Sometimes, minor system glitches or bugs in the Bluetooth can stop you from removing the Bluetooth devices from your PC. Restart your Windows 11 PC and see if you can remove the troublesome Bluetooth device.
Use the Control panel to remove the device
If you cannot remove the device through normal means, then you can also use the control panel to remove the device. To remove the device from the control panel, follow the steps below.
Step 1: In the Windows search, type Control panel and click on the first result.
Step 2: Under the Hardware and Sound section, click on View Devices and Printers.
Step 3: Right-click on the device you want to remove, and then click on the Remove device option in the menu.
Delete the device drivers from the device manager
The device drivers get updated, but the PC still thinks that the old drivers are still functional, so try removing the old device drivers of the device you are trying to connect. To do that, follow the steps below.
Step 1: Press the Windows + X keys, and then in the dropdown menu, click on the Device Manager option.
Step 2: In the device manager, click on the View tab and then click on the Show Hidden Devices option in the menu.
Step 3: Now, double-click the Bluetooth category to expand it, then right-click on the drivers of the faulty device and then in the menu, click on Uninstall device.
Step 4: Click on the Uninstall button. the driver will be uninstalled. Repeat the process for all the drivers of that device.
Step 5: Now, try removing the device from the Bluetooth page and then connect.

Run the Bluetooth troubleshooter
Window has an in-built troubleshooter; if the Bluetooth encounters any issues, the troubleshooter will detect and fix the issue. To run the troubleshooter, follow the steps below.
Step 1: Press the Windows + I key to open the settings.
Step 2: In settings, click on the System in the sidebar and then on the right side of the screen, click on the Troubleshoot option.
Step 3: On the next screen, click on Other troubleshooters.
Step 4: Click the Run button beside the Bluetooth option in the other section.
Update the Bluetooth driver
It might be possible that your Bluetooth drivers have not been updated automatically; hence, they are outdated now and causing issues. Updating them might resolve the issue. To update the Bluetooth driver, follow the steps below.
Step 1: Press the Windows + X keys, and then in the dropdown menu, click on the Device Manager option.
Step 2: In the device manager, double-click the Bluetooth category to expand it and then right-click on the Bluetooth adapter.
Step 3: Click on the Update driver option in the dropdown menu.
Step 4: In the new window, click on the Search automatically for drivers option.
Uninstall the Bluetooth drivers
If updating the Bluetooth driver doesn’t solve the issue, it might mean the Bluetooth drivers are damaged. You can reinstall the drivers. To reinstall the Bluetooth drivers, follow the steps below.
Step 1: Press the Windows + X keys, and then in the dropdown menu, click on the Device Manager option.
Step 2: In the device manager, double-click the Bluetooth category to expand it and then right-click on the Bluetooth adapter.
Step 3: Click on the Uninstall driver option in the dropdown menu.
Step 4: Click on the Uninstall button.
Step 5: Restart your PC, and when the PC starts again, it will automatically reinstall the fresh drivers.
